DONALD ANDREWS is an Editor / Director who has been making content for over 17 years. He’s has a multifaceted background in both creative production and post. His experience has spanned working as a Broadcast News Director, Director, Creative Director in broadcast / digital music content, Director of Photography, Editor, and GFX Designer.
In addition to editorial at VBE, Donald has directed and shot the Best Friends Animal Society "Cookie", "One Small Donation: A Little Goes Along Way" & "All Sorts" broadcast spots as well as the NKLA "Anthem" spot.
After moving to Los Angeles, he worked as the Creative Director at the innovative music discovery startup company LP33.tv, where he worked with ChannelPort Communications to create bimonthly shows for the McDonald’s in-store channel “Lovin’ It TV.” While at LP33, Donald has shot and directed content with esteemed recording artists Ringo Starr, Ke$ha, Perry Farrell, Diplo, Datarock, Neon Trees, Tori Amos, OK Go, Florence & the Machine, Ben Folds, Santigold, Sean Kingston, Thievery Corporation, Natasha Bedingfield, and Lykke Li to name a few.
Donald has also directed & edited music videos and other content for Anvil, Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, Klaxons, Von Haze, and Boy George. He most recently worked with Rick Kosick (Big Brother Magazine / Jackass) on his video for Turbonegro "Hot For Nietszche."
He is an avid fan of music and pop culture and has hosted “55 Shades of Blue” a weekly specialty show on tastemaker L.A. radio station KXLU 88.9 FM, for the past five years.
